Paul Elizondo

Managing Director, Founder, and CEO


Paul is the founder and CEO of P2. He is responsible for the firm’s strategy, business development, compliance, and operations as well as originating, advising, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions for clients. Paul has 25 plus years of experience in investment banking and capital markets as a leader, investment banker, and research analyst advising corporations and institutional investors having primarily worked prior to P2 at investment banks Truist Securities (fka SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) and BofA Securities (fka Banc of America Securities). He has helped raise and place billions of capital over his career and assisted with evaluating and executing client and corporate strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In addition, he has lead and run lines of businesses with ownership and responsibilities for P&L and peak revenues of over $100mm, managed 100+ employees, developed multiple business plans and executed on the associated strategies, and built revenue models and financial forecasts. With this background and as an entrepreneur, he has added insight and appreciation when advising entrepreneurial founders and C-suite level management teams and boards of directors on their corporate strategies, financial needs, and operations.

During the period at BofA when Paul was a sell-side research analyst, he was the second-highest ranking member of the electric utilities and power team that received the “Institutional Investor (II) All American Fixed Income Research Team” ranking of #1 or #2 for several years for their coverage of the Electric Utility industry.



Paul holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Davidson College.

He holds the FINRA Series 24 (Principal), 79 (Investment Banking), 7 (General Securities), and 63 (State Laws) licenses.



Paul is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Atlanta Technology Angels (ATA), and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). He was an active participant in the SunTrust CIB Women’s Sponsorship Group and the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Council. Paul is a donor and actively involved of a number of charities supporting cancer research—Duke Cancer Institute, Ian’s Friends Foundation (IFF)(pediatric brain tumors), and the American Cancer Society (ACS)—as well as veteran’s and anti-human trafficking programs. He enjoys tennis, swimming, traveling, and camping/over-landing.

Andrew ``Boomer`` Saraga

Vice President and Investment Banker


Boomer is a Vice President and Investment Banker for P2. He is responsible for executing deals across both M&A and capital raising transactions, while developing marketing materials, conducting financial analysis, and communicating strategies and recommendations to clients. Boomer has 6 years of experience in advisory, capital markets, investment banking, business operations, and fundraising.
He started his career at the investment bank, Truist Securities (fka SunTrust Robinson Humphrey), covering investment grade syndicated finance and investment banking within the industrials coverage vertical. He’s helped underwrite an aggregated portfolio of $5 billion+ in investment grade loans and previously assisted on the ~$1 billion sale of a leading industrial company. In addition, Boomer works as a digital asset-focused advisor for Khelp Financial, a registered investment advisor (RIA), and most recently co-founded Calican, a container packaging company. After founding Khelp in 2021, Boomer raised $1 million+ between an oversubscribed, pre-seed fundraising round and the firm’s managed assets.
Boomer is a versatile professional skilled as both an innovative entrepreneur, who has successfully launched multiple ventures, and an insightful investment banker with 3+ years experience between coverage and capital markets.



Boomer holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, where he was a varsity baseball player.
He holds the FINRA Series 79 (Investment Banking), 7 (General Securities), 63 (State Laws), and 65 (Investment Advisors) licenses.



Boomer is a proud supporter of Wellness in the Schools (WITS), a nonprofit creating healthy and happy environments for children to learn and grow, and a member of their New York City Marathon Team; he’s fundraising, running, and supporting WITS in back-to-back New York City marathons. Boomer is also a member of Money Management’s 2022 Pathway Class, a distinguished community and professional development program for select, emerging investment advisory leaders. He enjoys running, tennis, traveling, and time well spent with family and friends.
