BIO
Paul is the founder and CEO of P2. He is responsible for the firm’s strategy, business development, and operations as well as originating, advising, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions for clients. Paul has 25 plus years of experience in capital markets and investment banking as a leader, research analyst, or investment banker advising institutional investors and corporations having primarily worked at investment banks Truist Securities (fka SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) and Bank of America Merrill Lynch (fka Banc of America Securities). He started he career at Moody’s Investors Service. He has helped raise and place billions of capital over his career and assisted with evaluating and executing client and corporate strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In addition, he has lead and run lines of businesses with peak revenues of over $100mm, managed 100+ employees, developed multiple business plans and executed on the associated strategies, and built revenue models and financial forecasts. This backgroud provides added insight and appreciation when advising entrepreneurial founders and C-suite level management teams and boards of directors on their corporate strategies and financial needs.
While at BAML as sell-side research analyst he was the second-highest ranking member of the electric utilities and power team that received the “Institutional Investor All American Fixed Income Research Team” ranking for seven years, #1 (four years) and #2 (three years) for their coverage of the Electric Utility industry.

Paul holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Davidson College.
He holds the FINRA Series 24 (Principal), 79 (Investment Banking), 7 (General Securities), and 63 (State Laws) licenses.

Paul is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Atlanta Technology Angels (ATA), and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). He was an active participant in the SunTrust CIB Women’s Sponsorship Group and the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Council. Paul is a donor and actively involved of a number of charities supporting cancer research—Duke Cancer Institute, Ian’s Friends Foundation (IFF)(pediatric brain tumors), and the American Cancer Society (ACS)—as well as veteran’s and anti-human trafficking programs. He enjoys tennis, swimming, golf, traveling, and overlanding.

Jen is a Managing Director and senior investment banker for P2. She has responsibilities for originating, advising, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions for clients. Jen has 25 years of experience in capital markets and investment banking as a leader, investment banker, and research analyst, with extensive knowledge of the Retail / Consumer, Industrial / Manufacturing, and Business Services sectors. As a leader, she has a passionate commitment to developing individual and organizational talent through coaching and mentoring and feels that giving back is a critical part of growth. During her career, she has been responsible for sourcing and executing over $5.0 billion in sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, public offerings and private capital raises, minority and majority recapitalizations, leveraged buy-outs, and restructurings. Her strategic experience includes integrating roll-ups and negotiating and structuring add-on acquisitions for established companies, but also completing divestitures focused on both business units and orphan brands. Her client base varies from start-ups to institutional investors to Fortune 500 companies.
Jen was also a member of a highly lauded (3X WSJ All-Star) sell-side research team that covered Specialty Retail, which provided her with an extensive network of Retail and Consumer Products executives. That network and knowledge has allowed her to build deep relationships among the venture capital and private equity community.
This background has given her the ability to be a critical and analytical thinker who also possesses creative and thoughtful communication skills. This “problem solver” mindset gives her the ability to lead clients through times of rapid strategic change while being on the field, not yelling from the sidelines. Being a college athlete, she also loves sports references since deals tend to resemble long matches that go to extra time.

Jen holds an A.B. in History from Davidson College, where she was a Division I varsity soccer player.

Jen is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and has served on the board of the Georgia Fast 40 Awards (40 fastest growing middle-market companies in Georgia). Jen is a donor and has been actively involved with both the Davidson College and Westminster Schools Annual Fund and Reunion Committees, as well as supporting both Ian’s Friends Foundation (IFF)(pediatric brain tumors) and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation. She enjoys skiing, tennis, road and trail running, adventure races, road cycling, and mountain biking.
