Jennifer C. Neill

Managing Director

Jen is a Managing Director and senior investment banker for P2. She has responsibilities for originating, advising, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions for clients. Jen has 25 years of experience in capital markets and investment banking as a leader, investment banker, and research analyst, with extensive knowledge of the Retail / Consumer, Industrial / Manufacturing, and Business Services sectors. As a leader, she has a passionate commitment to developing individual and organizational talent through coaching and mentoring and feels that giving back is a critical part of growth. During her career, she has been responsible for sourcing and executing over $5.0 billion in sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, public offerings and private capital raises, minority and majority recapitalizations, leveraged buy-outs, and restructurings. Her strategic experience includes integrating roll-ups and negotiating and structuring add-on acquisitions for established companies, but also completing divestitures focused on both business units and orphan brands. Her client base varies from start-ups to institutional investors to Fortune 500 companies.

Jen was also a member of a highly lauded (3X WSJ All-Star) sell-side research team that covered Specialty Retail, which provided her with an extensive network of Retail and Consumer Products executives. That network and knowledge has allowed her to build deep relationships among the venture capital and private equity community.

This “problem solver” mindset gives her the ability to lead clients through times of rapid strategic change while being on the field, not yelling from the sidelines. Being a college athlete, she also loves sports references since deals tend to resemble long matches that go to extra time.
